Diane Dillon Hooper
Diane Hooper serves as the Director of Rowan Regional Medical Center Foundation. She joined the Foundation in October 2004.

A Catawba College graduate, she has completed the Arts Management Institute at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Grantsmanship I and II at UNC-Charlotte and the Association of Fundraising Professionals First Course in Fund Raising. She also holds a North Carolina real estate broker license.

She is a member of the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy, the Charlotte chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, where she served on the board directors and as treasurer. She served on the board of directors of the North Carolina Associations and Special Events, the Carolina's Cultural Council and the Mural Preservation. A member of the Kiwanis Club of Salisbury, she currently serves on the organization's board.

Diane was married to the late Steve Hooper, a retired manufacturing engineer for IBM.

Devona 'Dee' Fesperman Smith
Dee Smith is the Administrative Specialist for the Rowan Regional Medical Center Foundation. She joined the Foundation in October 2009.

Mrs. Smith maintains the gift database and correspondence as well assisting with other departmental tasks. Her experience ranges from Program Manager at the United Way non-profit agency to coordinating community programs and web-based fundraising database management at Food Lion, LLC.

A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a BA in Psychology, she previously worked at RRMC during high school and college. Her last position at the hospital was as a Patient Advocate. Her husband is Jeff Smith, a high school English teacher in Concord.
