The annual golf outing has evolved into the tournament of choice for fun and fellowship with charity-minded players. Morning and afternoon shotgun starts with a captain's choice format accommodating a wide range of players with different skill levels. Award presentations, prize drawings, food and festivities complete the evening.

Initiated in 1996 as the Foundation's Spring Golf Classic, the event's name was changed in 1999 in memory of John A. Campbell, Jr., director of the Rowan Regional Medical Center Foundation from 1990-1998.
