The prestigious President's Award, renamed as the Wilson L. Smith Philanthropic Award in October 2007 by the Foundation's board of directors, is presented to very special individuals in grateful recognition of their exceptional philanthropy, sustained service and loyal support of Rowan Regional Medical Center and its Foundation to advance healthcare for the people of Rowan County.
