Screening Mammograms
Rowan Breast Health Center makes having your annual mammogram more convenient than ever. It is a comfortable, tranquil environment designed to make women feel at ease.

We offer the latest screening technology. Digital mammography is one of the best tools in early detection to help find cancer in its early, most treatable stages.

The center is staffed by board-certified radiologists and is nationally accredited in mammography. Our technologist have advanced training in breast imaging and are certified in mammography.

Diagnostic Procedures
If screening mammography shows any potential problems, you will be scheduled for diagnostic imaging as soon as possible. A nurse navigator and a mammography technologist will be there to help you by answering questions and scheduling follow up procedures as needed. These procedures may include a diagnostic mammogram, breast ultrasound or breast MRI.

Should diagnostic imaging reveal any suspicious findings, board-certified radiologist and pathologists will partner to biopsy and evaluate this area of concern. If you need additional care, a nurse navigator will connect you with a team of cancer specialist.

Rowan Breast Health Center has both stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsy. If needed, MRI-guided biopsy is available at Rowan Regional Medical Center.

Support for the Journey
When facing a breast cancer diagnosis, it is natural for you and your loved ones to have many questions. That is why a nurse navigator will guide you every step of the way, helping coordinate your care, scheduling appointments as soon as possible and explaining procedures and treatments. Nurse navigators are specially trained in breast health, to educate, support and walk with you through treatment.

Expert Care, Advanced Treatment
We have assembled a team of specialist who will review your diagnosis and work with you to customize an individual treatment plan.  In addition to your personal physician, our medical team includes medical and radiation oncologists, general and plastic surgeons, pathologists, radiologists and a nurse navigator.

Reconstruction Surgery
Patients who desire reconstruction surgery can be cared for locally by board-certified plastic surgeons that will educate you about this specialized surgery.
