Cardiac Rehabilitation & Wellness Center
Our cardiac rehabilitation program is housed in a 4,100-square-foot facility on the second floor of the Kiser Medical Building, directly across the hall from Mid Carolina Cardiology.
Admission to our Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is by physician referral only. Various criteria are used to admit patients.
Cardiac rehab patients undergo a systematic program of physical exercise in our well-equipped rehab center, where patients are constantly monitored with computerized wireless telemetry.
Educational sessions are an important part of the program to help you regain your health and stamina. As you exercise in a climate-controlled area, a registered nurse, dietitian, exercise physiologist, exercise specialist or respiratory therapist circulates among patients to discuss diets, stress, anger management, and lifestyle factors that affect heart health.
If you’ve been diagnosed with a heart problem or are at risk for cardiovascular disease, ask your physician about a referral to our cardiac rehab program. Or call 704-210-5412 for more information.
