Sleep Medicine Services
The study of sleep disorders is a relatively new field, but Rowan Regional Medical Center has one of the few sleep centers in the state accredited by the American Sleep Disorders Association.
About 75 percent of the new patients seen annually at Rowan Sleep Health have sleep apnea, but the clinic treats all 84 sleep disorders that lead to a lower quality of life. Sleep disorders affect 9 percent of all men and 4 percent of all women age 30 to 60. Sleep disorders also can affect children, which sometimes results in a misdiagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
Dr. Dennis Hill, founder of the Rowan Sleep Health, is board certified in sleep medicine. For more information, call Rowan Sleep Health at 704-637-1533.
