It's Time to Quit!

RRMC is hosting a free GETQUIT Clinic for anyone over the age of 18 who is interested in a “nonjudgmental, no finger pointing” approach to quitting smoking. This one- hour workshop, followed by a Q & A session, will be presented by a Tobacco Treatment Specialist trained by the Mayo Clinic who will give you straightforward information ina comfortable, supportive environment. In this hour you will learn: why it can be so hard to quit;determining readiness to quit; developing a plan; understanding slip-ups; and a range of treatment option including over-the-counter and prescription medications.
