Rowan Regional Medical Center to Host Free Weight Loss Surgery Seminar

SALISBURY, N.C. – If you are finally ready to lose weight and keep it off, let Rowan Regional Medical Center help you understand your surgical weight loss options.

Rowan Regional Medical Center will host a free seminar with Roc Bauman, M.D., of Carolina Weightloss Surgery Center in Concord, on Thursday, April 23, at 7 p.m. The seminar will be held in the Clay Classroom on the fourth floor of Tower A at Rowan Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Bauman will describe the laparoscopic procedures available to treat morbid obesity, including adjustable gastric band, vertical sleeve gastrectomy and Roux-en-y gastric bypass. He will also explain who qualifies for weight loss surgery and answer any questions that participants may have.
