“There is never a
time when ‘nothing
else can be done.’
There may be a time when there is nothing left to promote a cure, but there is always something more
to be done to encourage comfort and quality of life. Hospice is that something more.”

Services & Information
Rowan Regional Hospice

Rowan Regional Hospice is a program that cares for people facing end-of-life illnesses so they may live as comfortably as possible. We recognize the patient and family as the unit of care. An interdisciplinary team of health professionals and volunteers provide emotional, social and spiritual services to assist patients and families with moving through this final life transition.
This team includes physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers and other health professionals needed for the care of a patient. Hospice services are delivered on an intermittent basis and are available 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Services are provided in the patient’s own home, assisted living facility, rest home or nursing facility. Our primary geographic area of service is Rowan County. However, we can also provide care in Cabarrus, Iredell, Davie, Davidson, and Stanly counties.
