Southeast Pain Care at Rowan Regional Medical Center
Partners in Non-surgical Pain Relief
Southeast Pain Care has partnered with Rowan Regional Medical Center to provide pain management services to Rowan County and beyond. SEPC at RRMC provides the perfect combination of fellowship trained, board certified physicians and the caring touch of your hometown hospital.
Are you an active adult whose lifestyle has been hampered by a pain condition?
Our physicians and staff focus on two types of pain: new and chronic pain. Acute pain management is designed for active adults who have new pain symptoms and need the help of a specialist. In some cases, pain control is not just a matter of comfort but is also a matter of medical safety that can contribute to the healing process.
Southeast Pain Care provides treatment for new pain conditions including sciatica, herniated disc, low back pain and neck pain. Prospective patients can get a referral from their physician or call the pain center directly for an appointment at 704-210-6800.
Another focus of SEPC at RRMC is chronic pain, which is defined as pain that lasts longer than would normally be expected for a disease or injury. It is frequently severe enough to limit a person's activity and make it difficult to function at work or at home.
We offer a broad range of treatment options, from nerve blocks and epidural injections to medications management and counseling. Our training and experience means we can provide some of the most advanced treatment methods available today. We work closely with each patient's personal physician to determine a proper pain treatment program.
Southeast Pain Care is a network of eleven pain management clinics staffed by 14 fellowship-trained physicians who are board certified/eligible in both anesthesiology and pain management. This level of training assures that our physicians have the knowledge and the experience to treat a wide range of painful ailments. Each physician has a wide range of experience in pain management, and together they care for more than 40,000 patients each year. The physicians work with physician assistants in care teams in order to provide the most personalized service available to patients to manage their pain.
