Knowing
how to get started and for how long you should exercise
isn’t enough. You’re probably curious about what your
program should entail—what the components of a well-balanced
exercise program are. Most professionals will recommend you get
some form of aerobic exercise, strength training and stretching
in an
exercise program. Each of these types of exercise work different
parts of the body, and work together to give you an overall workout.
You can incorporate all three aspects of the program on one day,
or you may choose to alternate between aerobic and strength training
workouts on different days, always incorporating stretching into
your workout.
