Sexual
abuse is sexual contact of any kind between a minor, like yourself,
and an adult. If sexual abuse occurs with a family member, it is
also called incest. If you are a victim of sexual abuse, don’t
feel ashamed or alone. There are lots of therapy and treatment options to help you deal with the emotional feelings you may have
as a sexual abuse survivor. Contact a counselor, and don’t
keep sexual abuse a secret. It is important to stop sexual abuse
from continuing and to get away from the abuser as soon as possible.
